Position Overview

The Loans Adviser plays a crucial role in assisting clients with their financial needs. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and customer service expertise to help individuals achieve their financial objectives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and determine the approval or rejection of loan applications.
  • Provide tailored financial solutions to clients, focusing on areas such as business growth, debt alleviation, and investment strategies.
  • Ensure all credit and loan documentation is accurately completed.
  • Manage accounts that require collection efforts.
  • Conduct interviews with loan applicants to assess their financial needs.
  • Facilitate the opening of new personal and business accounts, ensuring clients have access to various banking services.
  • Prepare reports on accounts that are delinquent.
  • Promote the various credit and loan services available.
  • Research and analyze the financial status, references, credit history, and repayment capacity of loan applicants.
  • Maintain and update credit and loan records.
  • Submit loan applications for management review.
