Job Summary

We're seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Chief Operating Officer. Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the Chief Construction Officer and Chief Financial Officer, the COO will contribute to the development and implementation of AWARD's company mission, vision, and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute on strategic, operational, and performance objectives.
  2. Lead a culture that attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent committed to AWARD's values and culture.
  3. Drive innovation, performance, and profitability across the business.
  4. Contribute to developing the organizational vision, mission, and corporate strategy.
  5. Oversee company operations, project timelines, and employee productivity.
  6. Measure and analyze revenue streams, optimize business growth strategies, identify and mitigate risks, and implement financial procedures.
  7. Assess and implement improved processes, technologies, and organizational policies.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations.
Requirements
  • Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Understanding of business principles, including financial management, strategic planning, and market analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver presentations and negotiate contracts.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours, as required.
