About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Rehabilitation Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at the Salmon Arm Health Centre. As a key member of our Home Health and Community Care Rehabilitation Programs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting adults with physical disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living, and implementing group and individual programs in clients' homes and community sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work at the top of your scope to provide high-quality care and support to clients.
  • Engage clients in regular therapeutic interventions to promote their functional ability and independence.
  • Contribute to the progression of client needs and their rehabilitation journey through effective communication and collaboration with the rehabilitation team.
  • Act as an integral member of the rehabilitation team, providing valuable insights and expertise to inform care decisions.
  • Serve as the eyes and ears of the rehabilitation team, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
