Assistant Store Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at Warehouse One - The Jean Store. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and achieve sales targets through effective coaching, training, and motivating team members
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing duties, scheduling, and visual merchandising
  • Participate in inventory management, stockroom organization, and visual displays
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail leadership experience, preferably in a fashion or apparel store
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move merchandise

  • Competitive hourly rate of $18.00
  • Bonus potential of up to $2,200 annually
