We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality products and services for our customers.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working on our afternoon shift, Monday to Thursday, from 3:30pm to 2:00am. You will be responsible for:

  • Welding flux core and metal core materials
  • Fabricating cranes and crane-related parts according to blueprints
  • Operating various machinery, including grinders, die grinders, oxy acetylene torches, forklifts, and overhead cranes
  • Identifying and repairing weld defects
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensuring all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in structural steel fitting and welding
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
