In the role of Projects Engineering Supervisor, reporting to the Superintendent of Projects Portfolio and Continuous Improvement, you will oversee the engineering and execution of the current year's capital plan projects. This position involves leading a team of both employee and contract Project Engineers in managing capital projects, ensuring adherence to Nutrien's project management practices. Collaborating with the Project Development team, Project Construction team, and Project Controller, you will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of the current year's capital plan, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with various Nutrien technical services groups and the Project Management Office.
  • Manage contract resources, including hiring, onboarding, and processing timesheets.
  • Collaborate with the Turnaround execution team to integrate capital projects with Turnaround events.
  • Enhance and adhere to project management processes.
  • Work in conjunction with Project Development, Project Construction, and Project Controls teams.

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration with APEGA and/or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in managing large projects utilizing project management skills and methodologies.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and prior supervisory experience.

Familiarity with all engineering disciplines is essential.
