Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Courier to join our team at FedEx Canada. As a Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages to our customers in a timely and efficient manner, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver packages to customers on assigned routes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Check all shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
  • Provide related customer service functions, including answering customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards, as well as maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
  • Ability to achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
  • Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.
