We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer II to contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies. In this role, you will collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to get the product developed and deployed for our leading-edge semiconductor design customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in one or more Ansys products and work independently to deliver high-quality results.
- Provide customer support, answering questions on tool functionality and troubleshooting product defects.
- Write clear descriptions of product enhancement requests and work behind the scenes to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos.
- Develop strong relationships with team members and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
We are looking for a candidate with a BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5 years of experience, or an MS with 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 1 year of experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good programming skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, CMOS fundamentals.
Prior experience in ASIC Physical design, Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure, or Custom circuit design and simulation is a plus.
