POSITION OVERVIEW

Stinson is in search of a Presentation Consultant specializing in the technology and finance sectors to serve as a visual knowledge translation expert. This role involves presenting technical and financial concepts in a distinctive and visually engaging manner.

As a Presentation Consultant at Stinson, you will collaborate closely with project managers and creative directors to develop clear and engaging
presentations utilizing striking visuals, animations, and custom graphics. With a blend of independence and guided training, our designers evolve into specialists in visual communication, design consulting, and PowerPoint design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design with intention. Grasp the content of presentations and apply best design practices to persuade, inform, or entertain the audience.
  • Develop new branding and/or designs for clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Advise on the visual narrative and content flow to create engaging presentations.
  • Create data visualizations that are straightforward and easy to interpret.
  • Revamp PowerPoints, marketing materials, and other design assets to align with clients' brand standards.
  • Design bespoke graphics, from icons to isometric illustrations.
  • Contribute to large-scale projects, including high-profile, major events.
  • Facilitate client-facing workshops while making real-time adjustments to meet tight deadlines.
  • Stay updated with design trends and serve as a valuable design partner to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Previous client-facing experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management abilities.
  • Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend complex information.
  • Degree in graphic design, illustration, or a related field.
