Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager of Allied Health Services, the Certified Rehabilitation Assistant (CRA) plays a vital role in delivering client care services as directed by professional healthcare staff. The CRA is tasked with providing client-focused services within the Rehabilitation Program, alongside various supportive functions aimed at enhancing program effectiveness, and undertaking additional responsibilities as outlined in the position description. All personnel are expected to adhere to established safety protocols and safe working practices, promptly reporting any hazardous conditions to their supervisor. The CRA is committed to upholding Occupational Health and Safety standards and actively contributes to fostering a secure work environment.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of recent relevant healthcare experience is preferred.

Training or experience in rehabilitation services is preferred.

Experience working with the elderly population is preferred.

Proficiency in safe lifting, transferring, and ambulation techniques is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Capability to comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions.

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize assigned tasks.

Competence in collaborating within a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication skills; proficiency in the French language is an asset.

Educational Requirements:

A Certified Rehabilitation Assistant certificate or equivalent is required.

Certification in C.P.R. is required; BCLS certification is preferred.
