Position Overview

Walgre Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the repair and painting of vehicle bodies, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized.
  • Guide and instruct apprentices in repair techniques.
  • Replace and repair front end components, body components, doors, and underbody parts.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Utilize tools to hammer out dents and defects.
  • Remove damaged parts and install replacement components through bolting or welding.
  • Apply primers and paint surfaces to restore vehicle appearance.
  • Repair or replace interior components as necessary.
  • Address issues with windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Mix paint to achieve desired colors and finishes.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic fillers for repairs.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
