About the Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) department at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing actionable financial reports and analysis to assist management in steering the financial performance of the Americas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate financials for management reporting and lead the Americas Budget process.
  • Prepare forecasts, produce financial trend analysis, certify GBIS costs, and contribute to monthly closings.
  • Ensure alignment with norms around performance management and analyze and present GBIS financial performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team in New York and the Accounts Payables (AP) team and Legal entity controllers in Canada to ensure optimal quality in the production of reports and other input data in the FP&A processes.
Requirements
  • Accounting knowledge, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or more in a related field.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Financial Modelling, PowerBI Report Creation, Managing Data, Power Query Data manipulation, and Alteryx.
