Key Responsibilities- Deliver Health Education Programs: Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Manage Home Care Cases: Coordinate and manage home care cases to ensure patients receive the necessary care and support.
- Provide Consultative Services: Offer consultative services to patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding issues relevant to nursing practice and nursing profession.
- Provide Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise Nursing Staff: Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure they are providing high-quality patient care.
- Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player.
