Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boutcher Holdings Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food in a fast-paced food service environment. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, including first aid, CPR, and WHMIS certification.
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • First aid, CPR, and WHMIS certification.
  • Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
