About the Role

Bayer AG is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Ophthalmology department. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and medical associations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to engage with thought leaders and key stakeholders in the ophthalmology community, including the dissemination of scientific data and education.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and develop effective engagement strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the ophthalmology market.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal stakeholders on ophthalmology-related topics.
  • Provide medical information and support to internal teams, including commercial, market access, and research.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in a medical affairs or scientific liaison role, with a strong understanding of the ophthalmology market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective strategies.
