We are seeking a highly skilled Brewery Controls Specialist to join our team at Labatt Breweries of Canada. As a key member of our brewing operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in brewing and brewing maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead improvement initiatives related to Brewing departmental Key Performance Indicators to ensure targets are met
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cost, or improve quality
  • Conduct and assist in quality testing and assessments to ensure compliance with standards
  • Provide guidance and support to the brewery network, brewing personnel, and department heads
  • Develop and implement creative troubleshooting and problem-solving ideas to assist with brewery issues and develop new processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required
  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Associate Membership Exam from the Institute and Guild of Brewing (or equivalent) is an asset
  • Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and team orientation
  • Strong computer skills
  • Technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
