Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at 2590291 Ontario Corp. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking.
