A role at Zida Academy that involves keeping the school premises clean and organized. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the cleanliness and safety of the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and use chemicals to disinfect surfaces.
  • Furniture and Equipment Maintenance: Dust furniture and equipment, and ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Trash and Recycling Management: Empty trash containers and ensure that recyclables are properly disposed of.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Childcare Support: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist early childhood educators with their programs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary school graduation is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field is necessary.
  • Certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, and CPR certificates are required.
  • Skills: Physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
