At Health Careers in Saskatchewan, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising technical staff and work processes of assigned disciplines of a laboratory. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and a ability to lead and manage a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of technical staff in a laboratory setting
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth laboratory operations
  • Provide training and guidance to technical staff
Requirements
  • Forty-eight (48) months previous discipline-related experience
  • Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT)
  • Licenses: Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists, Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science

Working Conditions

This is a full-time regular position with 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks. The successful candidate will be required to work in a laboratory setting and may be required to travel to other locations as needed.
