Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising technical staff and work processes of assigned disciplines of a laboratory. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and a ability to lead and manage a team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of technical staff in a laboratory setting
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth laboratory operations
- Provide training and guidance to technical staff
- Forty-eight (48) months previous discipline-related experience
- Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT)
- Licenses: Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists, Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
This is a full-time regular position with 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks. The successful candidate will be required to work in a laboratory setting and may be required to travel to other locations as needed.
