Job Title: Learning Advisor Lead

The Learning Advisor Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the learning and development agenda for the Internal Audit organization at Citigroup Inc. This position requires a deep understanding of how learning contributes to achieving the organization's objectives and the ability to develop targeted learning solutions that align with strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the skills assessment process to identify potential learning needs and ensure connectivity with the learning curriculum.
  • Design, develop, and deliver a range of global programs, including learning for all global team members, new joiners, and role-specific programs.
  • Stay abreast of relevant Internal Audit, Practices, and Learning and Development priorities and opportunities for capability building, performance improvement, cultural development, and overall impact.
  • Partner with other Learning Advisors to provide management and consulting to the Internal Audit team and proactively identify and prioritize L&D opportunities to support successful business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across HR to provide an integrated experience for the Internal Audit team.
  • Implement a strategy for consistently measuring the effectiveness of training.
  • Stay current with the latest external market trends and anticipate their impact on future capability requirements for the Internal Audit team.
  • Drive innovation and creativity within all learning programs.
  • Work with subject matter experts to design high-quality, needs-based learning programs that adhere to Citi Standards and policies.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong understanding of risk and controls, including the audit function.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently and operate with high standards within tight timeframes.
  • Strong ability to advise and consult with all levels of stakeholders, including senior leaders in the function and across Citi.
  • Highly adaptable and positive about change and ambiguity.
  • Strong experience in a related role with extensive experience in business, functional, and people management.
  • Effective negotiation skills, a proactive approach in communicating issues, and strength in sustaining independent views.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal audit and senior management.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
