Manufacturing Production Lead

As a Production Operations Coordinator at Vistech Manufacturing, you will oversee the daily activities of our production team. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 16-20 production workers, ensuring efficient operation of processing machines.
- Scheduling: Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize productivity.
- Personnel Management: Participate in personnel decisions, including hiring and promotions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to management.
- Quality Improvement: Propose strategies to enhance product quality and productivity.
- Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Support: Assist machine operators and other team members as needed.
The role is set in a clothing/textile manufacturing facility characterized by:
- Dusty and hot conditions
- Repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- A fast-paced atmosphere requiring attention to detail
Employees are expected to have their own transportation, although public transport options are available. Transportation may also be provided to and from work.
Physical RequirementsCandidates should be prepared for:
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking
