Laboratory Technician in Food Chemistry

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician B specializing in Food Chemistry.
Work Schedule: Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, full-time position totaling 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of physico-chemical analyses related to food chemistry.
- Perform necessary quality control assessments, including verifications and calibrations.
- Provide essential laboratory support, which includes washing glassware, preparing samples, maintaining workspaces, performing preventive maintenance on measuring instruments and laboratory equipment, and managing waste disposal.
- Engage in analytical problem-solving and method validation processes.
- Prepare compliant documentation associated with analytical procedures.
- Utilize specific laboratory instruments and equipment effectively.
- Ensure consistent tracking of samples to meet established deadlines.
- Adhere to established protocols and comply with the quality management system at all times.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently.
Required Skills:
- Degree in science, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior laboratory experience is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken French.
- Functional knowledge of English.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on deadlines, analytical thinking, and synthesis.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, rigor, and adaptability.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
