About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Tried & True Builders Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, structures, and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Repair: Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment to perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Leadership: Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers as needed.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair buildings, structures, and fixtures to ensure they are safe and functional.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training and experience are essential.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment and performing tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
