Junior Carpenter

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, cabinets, and doors
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete projects
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in construction estimating and reading blueprints
- Knowledge of various carpentry techniques including masonry, tile laying, cabinet installation, drywall installation, flooring installation, etc.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, electrical equipment used in carpentry work
- Ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
