Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Ramp Supervisor, the individual will serve as a Ramp Agent, ensuring a secure, professional, and courteous environment for both passengers and crew members.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcome passengers and crew with professionalism and respect.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations on the ramp and within the hangar.
- Prepare aircraft for departures and customer readiness.
- Direct aircraft during arrival and departure using appropriate hand signals.
- Assist in towing aircraft as needed.
- Conduct aircraft refueling operations.
- Manage loading and unloading of baggage and cargo.
- Provide transportation for passengers and crew members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
- Availability required from Monday to Sunday.
- Shifts lasting up to 11 hours.
- Day or Night shifts available.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Canadian work permit is mandatory.
- Must hold a valid driver's license (class 5); class 3 license is an asset.
- Must obtain an Airside "D" Driver's Licence (AVOP) within the first 3 months of employment.
- Eligibility for a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is necessary.
- Previous experience in the aviation sector is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Capability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
