Job Title: Senior Advisor Data Quality

Join the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) team as a Senior Advisor Data Quality, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.

About the Role:

The Senior Advisor Data Quality will be responsible for the production of high-quality financial reports to support our clients and internal stakeholders. This includes:

  • Generating high-quality reports to meet the requirements of internal and external clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Preparing investment accounting entries and establishing effective controls around the entry creation processes.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the month-end/quarter-end accounting close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reports.
  • Streamlining processes and creating operational efficiencies to ensure scalability and compliance with financial and operational controls.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of policies and operational procedures manuals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience in asset management or financial services operations.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS and/or ASPE.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and database skills.
