Spectrum Health Care is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Direction: Ensure patient care is delivered according to professional nursing standards and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Staff Management: Conduct supervisory visits, provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring to nursing staff.
- Performance Management: Responsible for performance appraisals and progressive discipline of nursing staff.
- Case Reviews: Complete case reviews to support appropriate frequency of care and nursing capacity.
- Patient Engagement: Engage patients and nursing team using a collaborative approach, building rapport and trust.
- Current CNO registration as Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, degree preferred.
- Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Supervisor/Manager, preferably in a community setting.
- Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to patients.
- Current CPR certification.
