Job Summary:
The Clothing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful day-to-day operation of a retail store department at Bass Pro Shops. This role reports to the Group Sales Manager and requires strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring they follow standard operating procedures and systems processes.
- Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members, providing clear and concise direction and follow-up to ensure proper execution.
- Foster the growth and development of team members through training and coaching.
- Ensure team members provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers' needs and making product recommendations.
- Maintain visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise recovery, and sales floor maintenance.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues using good judgment and logic.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Requirements:
- Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment.
- Open availability, including weekends and store opening and closing shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations.
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to use good judgment and logic.
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset.
