About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Chevron Gas Station. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, as well as process returns and exchanges.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate at Chevron Gas Station, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
