Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Conducting daily patrols of the facility to ensure store security and validate that doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly.
  2. Making external arrests when necessary, in accordance with Walmart Canada policies and procedures.
  3. Investigating instances of financial and physical shrink, communicating findings to Store Leadership, and in cases of internal matters, communicating with the Market Loss Prevention Manager first.
  4. Supporting store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency.
  5. Participating in store task team responsibilities as required.
  6. Conducting and supporting investigations as assigned, including instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, matters relating to external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics.
  7. Communicating information from different sources and effectively clarifying issues for others, often presenting different perspectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Security Guard License.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having a Walmart Canada Security Guard License is preferred.
