About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 631629 NB Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
