Job Title: Apprentice Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at O'Brien Construction and Renovations. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will assist experienced carpenters in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction and renovation of buildings, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain and repair residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
