Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at HIDE-A-WAY CAFE. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Supervise and Coordinate Food Service StaffLead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
Train and Develop StaffProvide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Ensure Quality Control and Customer SatisfactionMonitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Manage Inventory and ReportingOversee the maintenance of accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Establish Work SchedulesDevelop and implement efficient work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
Work Environment and Requirements- Fast-Paced Environment
Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and effective time management are essential.
Work Under PressureManage stress and pressure in a high-volume food service environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.

Work Term: PermanentCommit to a permanent role, contributing to the long-term success of HIDE-A-WAY CAFE.
Work Language: EnglishCommunicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, management, and customers.
Hours: 40 hours per weekWork a standard 40-hour week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
