We are in search of a Senior Full Stack C# Developer who possesses a robust background in MS SQL, Azure, React/Redux, and a profound comprehension of software engineering principles. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate extensive experience in crafting clean code, executing diverse testing methodologies, and applying best practices in software development to guarantee that our applications are resilient, scalable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and sustain efficient, reusable, and reliable full stack applications utilizing C#, .NET Core, MS SQL, Azure, and React/Redux.
  • Adopt clean coding practices and comply with organizational coding standards to uphold code quality and maintainability.
  • Take the lead in writing and upholding comprehensive tests (integration tests, unit tests, regression tests) to assure code reliability and application quality.
  • Conduct code evaluations, refactoring, and performance enhancements to ensure applications are efficient and devoid of memory leaks.
  • Effectively utilize design patterns and contribute to the architectural framework of our applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Document all processes and maintain detailed records of system configurations, development workflows, and testing protocols.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends in software development and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our development practices.
  • Guide junior developers and provide insights on software development best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development with a strong emphasis on C#, .NET Core, MS SQL, and Azure.
  • Proficient in React/Redux for front-end development.
  • Extensive experience in writing clean code, testing (integration, unit, regression tests), and documentation.
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns, refactoring, performance optimization, and logging practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in sprint cycles.
  • Knowledge of MVC architecture.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Vancouver, BC.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in cross-platform development is advantageous.
  • Background in the retail or POS system development sector.
