Job Title: Truck Driver - Flatbed

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Flatbed to join our team at UHAUL. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-truck and trailer to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Drive: Safely operate a semi-truck and trailer to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods and materials from the trailer.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Oversee Condition of Vehicle: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to perform the demands of the job.
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent schedule. The working hours are 40 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
