Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Rolls-Right Industries Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and ensure clear communication with colleagues and management.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 50 hours per week
