Job Summary

TerraSource Global is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Equipment Evaluation: Conduct regular equipment evaluations to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Service Visits: Perform routine service visits to customers' sites to ensure equipment is functioning properly and make any necessary repairs.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales representatives, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: College or university degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in heavy industrial service.
  • Language Skills: English (verbal and written) required; French a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, operate general hand tools, and utilize mathematical concepts.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel 60% of the time, with some international travel required.
Working Conditions

The Field Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, often in remote locations, and must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
