We are seeking a skilled Insurance Broker to join our team at The Gore Insurance and Financial Services Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage. They will also provide customer service, monitor insurance claims, and respond to client enquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Market Assessment: Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets to identify opportunities for insurance coverage.
- Premium Calculation: Calculate premiums for clients based on their specific needs and risk profiles.
- Client Coverage: Establish client insurance coverage, including ensuring that all necessary forms and medical examinations are completed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their enquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Claims Monitoring: Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Licenses and Certifications: Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and sound judgement.
