Job Title: Construction Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at A.C. CIVIL CONTRACTING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
Work Environment:

The Construction Carpenter will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and outdoors environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
