About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our Project Management team at FortisBC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various programs within the Project Management Office (PMO). Your focus will be on scope management, cost control, reporting, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute programs, ensuring successful delivery and meeting business objectives.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility by working within budgets and deadlines, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of program changes and progress.
  • Coordinate and assign resources to positively impact program outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university, plus a minimum of four to seven years of recent experience in project management and field construction.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiations, resource planning, and project management processes and permitting.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and related cost objectives.
  • Proficiency in report writing and associated project management tools (Microsoft Excel, Work, and Project as well as Primavera).
