About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Grant's Foodmart. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Develop and execute events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes, including conferences, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Content Creation: Prepare written materials such as reports, briefs, and website content to effectively communicate our brand message.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers to inform our marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Research: Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Client Advisory: Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies to meet their business objectives.
  • Material Preparation: Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Public Opinion Research: Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to gauge consumer sentiment and preferences.
  • Media Relations: Initiate and maintain contact with the media to promote our brand and products.
  • Education and Training: Prepare and deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions to enhance our customers' knowledge and understanding of our products.
  • Marketing Portfolio: Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to showcase our brand's creative and innovative approach.
  • Digital Marketing: Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions to reach a wider audience.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve our business objectives.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, and teamwork.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
