We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at KABAL SINGH HUNDAL, PARMINDER SINGH HUNDAL, ET AL. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and harvesting laborers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Farm Operations: Ensure the efficient and effective management of farm activities, including crop production, harvesting, and maintenance.
- Maintain Quality Control and Production Records: Monitor and record farm production, quality control, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Implement and enforce strict safety and bio-security protocols to protect our farm workers, crops, and the environment.
- Supervise and Oversee Crop-Related Operations: Coordinate and supervise the growth, harvesting, and maintenance of our crops, including blueberries.
- Perform General Farm Duties: Assist with general farm tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and equipment operation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role in agriculture or a related field.
- Work Environment: The successful candidate will work outdoors in a rural area, with regular exposure to the elements.
- Work Setting: The farm is a rural area with a permanent work term.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
