About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the inventory management team, including training and development of team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve inventory-related problems, including discrepancies and stock shortages.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible, initiative, organized, and reliable.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
