Job Title: Sales Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Estimator to join our team at EightSix Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales leads, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our clients with their metal fabrication and dust collection needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies.
  • Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates for projects based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with design, drafting, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are executed as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and best practices.
  • Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate estimating.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience of 1-2 years of sales and/or estimating experience, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or construction sector.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to work independently, driven to achieve goals and budgets set.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and visit job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Sheet Metal Certification with some related hands-on experience.
  • Drafting/Design experience, with the ability to use AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2-year diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge/experience of metal fabrication, millwright work and/or welding.
  • Knowledge of dust collection systems.
