Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting between 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a related field.
- Conduct evaluative assessments and tests.
- Support healthcare professionals in delivering quality care.
- Assist medical practitioners in evaluating patient conditions.
- Implement treatment plans as directed by physiotherapists and occupational therapists to aid in the recovery of patients with diverse injuries or disabilities.
- Create informative materials for patient education.
- Perform patient examinations.
- Assist physical therapists in their duties.
- Maintain accurate prescription records.
- Administer various evaluative tests and procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of therapeutic equipment.
- Manage the ordering and procurement of necessary equipment.
- Process health insurance claims and workers' compensation documentation.
- Gather and analyze statistical data.
- Keep clinical and progress reports updated.
- Oversee the management of supplies and inventory.
- Document the rehabilitation progress of patients.
- Carry out general administrative tasks.
- Prepare and uphold cleanliness in collection areas.
- Handle filing and paperwork efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Instruct and supervise patients in exercises.
- Order and manage supplies and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory effectively.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 32 hours per week.
