Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dana Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development: Work with our Chef Manager to plan and develop menus and recipes that meet the needs of our guests and align with our company's promotional themes and Season Inspirations Program.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and serve food to the highest standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with FoodSafe protocols and Dana Hospitality's quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
  • Cost Control: Work with our Chef Manager to control costs and ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry
  • Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GFS, Outlook)
  • Extensive knowledge of menu and labor costing
  • Effective leadership style, positive outgoing personality, and effective listening skills
