About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at Ecotech Electrical Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to support the manufacturing process.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare standards and schedules to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English.
