Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at Ecotech Electrical Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, carrying out mechanical tests and analyses, and preparing engineering designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct a range of mechanical tests and analyses on machines, components, and materials to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to support the manufacturing process.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise and monitor mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
