Senior Signage Production Specialist/Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Signage Production Specialist/Graphic Designer to join our team at FASTSIGNS. As a key member of our design and production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual communications solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize daily tasks to efficiently schedule workflow and meet deadlines.
- Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer.
- Maintain all equipment, including computers, plotters, and printers.
- Prepare substrates for application and perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
- Install signs when necessary and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Create proofs and send to customers using the online proofing system.
- Unload raw materials, clean and maintain storage areas, and load materials on/into printer and/or laminator.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to client or supervisor instructions.
- 3+ years of experience in sign production.
- Previous experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator, or in desktop publishing required, including an advanced level of experience using Adobe applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
- Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
- Able to use light power equipment.
- Strong proof-reading skills, including spelling and grammar.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
