Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced academic instructor to teach a course in computer science at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and be able to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with developments in software engineering and incorporate new ideas into the course
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in a field related to computer science, such as software engineering, and have experience teaching similar courses. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
